Welcome to another Top 5 Wednesday post! Created by the lovely Lainey and Sam on Goodreads (Go check them out if you want to join in the fun!)
This week’s theme is books that aren’t set in the western world, and I can already feel like this is going to be a challenge. I have just noticed how most of the books I read are set in / inspired by the western world.
Also, happy birthday to me! Hurray!
Anyway, let’s see if I can come up with 5 books for his week’s challenge:
These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner (Review here) – Set in outer space
Cinder by Marissa Meyer (Review here) – Set in Asia and the Moon
Blood Sisters by Barbara Keating & Stephanie Keating – Set in east Africa (mainly Kenya)
Heartless by Marissa Meyer (Review here) – Set in the fictional land of Hearts
Oh nooo! I can’t think of any other books that aren’t set in the western world! Oh this is a lot harder than I expected (I feel like such a failure! Haha!)
What books would you have included in this list?
