It’s Monday! What are you reading?

This is a weekly post to share what you recently finished reading, what you’re currently reading, and what you plan on reading this week. It’s hosted by Kathryn at Bookdate. If you want to join me (and a gazillion other bloggers) go check out her blog 🙂

Crown of midnight

Crown of Midnight by Sarah J Maas (Review coming soon!)

Monday2

Miss Peregrine - Hollow City

I’m currently listening to the Hollow City audiobook, the second part in Miss Peregrine’s trilogy. I didn’t LOVE the first book in the series (you can see my review here) but it was good enough for me to pick up the second one. Let’s see how it goes.

I'm still here

The next book I’m reading, I’m Still Here, is actually a copy that I received from Bookbridgr in exchange for a review. I haven’t started it yet but according to the blurb the story is about a girl/woman (I’m not sure how old she is) who is in a comma for the past 5 months so the doctors are thinking of pulling the plug on her. BUT what they don’t know is that she’s actually conscious and aware of what’s happening around her. This should be an interesting read, me thinks 🙂

It’s no longer Monday… but I still want to share! 🙂
I started When Dimple Met Rishi on Monday and I just finished it like 10 minutes ago. The only reason I really even bought it was because of all the hype I noticed that was circulating about it both here, on Goodreads and even Twitter. To my surprise, I totally loved it – so HILARIOUS, a bit cliché sure, but nonetheless an awesome read to get anyone out of a June-Gloom reading slump.
Likewise, I wasn’t too big a fan of the first edition of the Miss Peregrine series. Perhaps I should suck it up and read the sequel?
I look forward to reading more from you soon…Happy July Reading 🙂
