June Wrap-Up

Can you believe we’re already half-way over 2017?! Where has the time gone? Is it just me or does anyone else feel like the older you get the faster the years seem to go by?

(No…? Just me then? Great!)

Anyway, this month has been a great reading month (I’m focusing on quality and not quantity of books read). I’ve read a mixture of YA contemporaries, an urban fantasy, a graphic novel, and even philosophical fiction (which was surprisingly good!).

You can see my review for each of these books by clicking on the links below:

The Orange Girl by Jostein Gaarder

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

Wires and Nerve by Marissa Meyer

Hello, Sunshine by Leila Howland

Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare

All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

Right now I’m about a third of the way through Crown of Midnight by Sarah J Maas, which is the second book in the Throne of Glass series. The story is epic! I missed Celaena a lot, so it’s been brilliant reading about her again, buuuut I feel a reading slump coming on!

Please send me some happy thoughts! Every time I pick up that book my eyes start to feel heavy and tired, until I can’t keep them open any longer and finally fall asleep.
