OK, so we’re past the half-way mark on Camp NaNoWriMo, and that means it’s time for a quick update.
My initial goal was to write 30.000 words in the month of April. Yes, that was my big challenge. Hoooowever, life got busy and I wasn’t writing as much as needed to to reach my goal. So I decreased my word-count goal slightly (I chopped off a third of it to be completely honest!) and I’m still behind. How is that even possible?!
But I won’t let that bring me down. I’ll write as much as I can, with the amount of time I have available for that. That’s it. No more feeling guilty!
My new writing goal is of a measly 20.000 words, which shouldn’t be a problem, right? Except for the fact that there are too many distractions around (Yeah, I’m looking at you Candy Crush AND Family Farm! Damn you and your cute little graphics!).
Word-count goal: 20.000 words
Current word-count: 9.274 words
Is anyone else taking part in Camp NaNoWriMo? Have you ever taken part in NaNoWriMo before? How did you get on with your writing?
