Souvenirs from Across the World

You may or may not remember this but way back in June I mentioned I was taking part in Drizzle & Hurricane Books’ brand new feature “Souvenirs from Across the World“.

In this new feature you start by sharing a post about your country/city/village/island… (you can check out my post about Brazil and Northern Ireland right here).

After you’ve done that, you can (if you want to) be matched with another blogger and exchange gifts like a blogging-secret-santa sort of thing 😀 And because I LOVE gift giving I signed up as fast as I could!

I was lucky enough to be matched with the one and only The Orang-utan Librarian! Her blog is one of my all time favourites! I was thrilled to be matched with such an influential and friendly blogger! And her “Souvenir” has just arrived in the post!!!! Aaaahhhhh!!!

I couldn’t quite believe my eyes when I opened the package! (Sorry about the rubbish photos… My phone camera is going through an identity crisis at the moment)

I love love love all my new souvenirs! But that Harry Potter bookmark is just extra special, isn’t it?! I’ve had my eye on a HP bookmark for a while now, but I just couldn’t decide which one I was going to get, so this is simply perfect!

And what about that drawing? Wow! That’s beautiful! A LOT of work must have been put into this. I’m so humbled by these “souvenirs”. Someone obviously spent their precious time looking up what I like and that kind of attitude is priceless.

I just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to “The Urang-utan Librarian” for being so thoughtful in her choice of gifts, and for being as friendly as ever!

If you want to take part in the next round of “Souvenirs from Across the World” keep an eye on Drizzle and Hurricane Books! That girl is one smart cookie when it comes to blog features!

Till next time 😀
