Worst book ever written?

I’m not sure it’s the WORST book ever written, but it’s definitely the worst book I’ve ever read! In my humble opinion, The City of Wizards is a literary form of torture. You can see my review here.

Best book ever written?

I’m going to be very predictable with this one and say the Harry Potter books.

I’ve recently discovered the longest book ever written is 13,000 pages long and in French- do you think you’ll ever read it?

Haha! No way! Well, first of all I don’t speak French, so reading a mammoth of a book in French would have been quite the challenge. And second, 13.000 pages?! I’m a slow reader so it would probably take me about 10 years to finish that book…

What’s your average reading speed? (pages per minute)

I’m not sure how long it would take me to read a page to be honest. I guess it depends on the size of the font…?

In 100 words or less, do you think speed reading should be an Olympic Sport? Why/why not?

Yes! Because the brain is an integral part of our bodies, and if physical skills can be made into a competitive sport then why not use mental skills too?

What sports do you follow (if any)?

I’m not a big sports fan. The only time I really follow sports (go to games, watch on TV,…) is during the Olympic Games and the World Cup. That’s it really. My favourite sports in the Olympic Games are volleyball, athletics and gymnastics.

What’s the best place you’ve ever been on holiday?

I think Rome is probably my favourite place on Earth! Closely followed by Disneyland Paris (I haven’t been to Disney World in Florida… yet!)

Not including Earth- what’s your favourite planet and why?

Haha! What an unexpected question! I’m loving this! Erm… my favourite planet would have to be Jupiter, because it’s enormous and its surface looks so pretty. It’s like a planet made of marble.

I’m obviously running out of questions- I dare you to attempt a handstand *right now*

Hahahahahha! That’s so not gonna happen! Sorry.

Write a limerick about your favourite/least favourite dictator.

Oh, this is too hard for my poor little brain right now. I think the only dictators I’ve heard of were Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin and Julius Caesar. And I don’t really know that much about them… Sorry. I was never good in History at school.

If your house was burning down and you could only save one item, what one item would you save?

Ooh, tough one. I think I’d probably save my British Residence Permit. Everything else wouldn’t be as hard to replace (like computers, phones, books, etc). Replacing such an important document would be an unthinkable nightmare!

And now 11 questions for my 11 lovely nominees:

  1. Who is your favourite book character of all time?
  2. What book are you NEVER going to read?
  3. Tell me 3 things that make you happy.
  4. If I gave you 1 million (Dollars, Pounds, Euros, Monopoly money…) what would be the FIRST thing you’d spend it on?
  5. What’s the last picture you took with your phone?
  6. What’s your proudest moment in life so far?
  7. What book are you NEVER going to read?
  8. If you could go back in time, what would you change in your own life?
  9. Italian, Japanese, Mexican, or Indian food?
  10. Do you know what your heritage is?
  11. What would be your dream job?
